I have achieved excellent academic results on the subject and have three years of experience tutoring it. I've learnt numerous methods and techniques used to solve analytical questions whilst playing around with numbers that would make this subject a breeze to you as it has become to myself.

Considering that I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently working in the Financial sector, I have a deep knowledge for Mathematics across the board. I have knowledge in pure mathematics, calculus, algebra, etc.

I think I am the best tutor for Pure Maths because I have always excelled in it during my time as a student. My excelling was not only because I understood the concepts easily, but because I learnt various approaches that made it easy to understand Maths. I believe that sharing these approaches with other students would help them to understand Maths easily too.

I can teach maths and science to a grade 10 level. I enjoy focusing on the adverse skills that students develop from the subject but also to assist in filling in the knowledge gaps that many students lack because of having missed foundational parts of their learning in these subjects which has slowed down their progression.

I passed my matric maths exam with a 90% symbol. I have taught high school maths throughout my university career and all of my students significantly improved their grades. My main focus is always on getting the students to understand maths without the need to remember concepts.

I have the experience in understanding mathematical concepts, principles and delivering accurate solutions with detailed step by step explanations . This will assist your understanding of topics within the maths discipline and be absolutely beneficial.

I hold more than two years’ experience working with students in assessing, assisting, preparing, invigilating and facilitating students during their facilitation sessions. This broadened and sharpened some of my strengths and weaknesses as I was challenged with different and interesting perspectives from each, individually. I did Algebra, Calculus and Applied Maths during my 1st year (undergraduate degree). I can help students understand the basic maths and make it easier and assist them in its simplest manner

I achieved a distinction for Maths in matric, over 70% for Maths Paper 3, and have studied complex calculus and statistics throughout my varsity career. I have also practically applied various abstract mathematical concepts to design projects and can therefore assist students in seeing the value of what they are learning

Grade 8 to Grade 12, all levels. I am very good at explaining all concepts from basic to the most complex. I am especially good at preparing matric students for their final year exams.

Even though I achieved an average of 90% in Matric, Mathematics is one of those subjects I personally found hard to understand myself; however, through applying myself rigorously to the conceptual foundations of the content I was being taught in class, I was able to excel. I am now even teaching myself mathematical logic, as part of my preparation for a PhD! Overall, I believe that these experiences position me very well as an educator, as I approach the subject from a foundational level, rather than assuming that the student has already acquired the concepts, or that they are somehow 'natural' and 'easy.' This means that I am often able to break down the concepts required into bite-sized, easily-manageable chunks - and this proves invaluable not only in acquiring the necessary content knowledge, but also in identifying and working through any gaps the learner might have.
