Not only am I passionate about the subject I would like to tutor, but I understand the pain of falling short in something you feel capable in. I like human interaction as well and I would feel honoured in knowing that I would be helping someone in some small way.

Afrikaans and English. Number person or not. I am confident that I will make each and every student enjoy math more that they have in the past. With that increasing your marks will too. I am here to help you, teach you and show you the different ways of doing math, but ultimately you need to put in the work too. We got this!!

I love teaching Maths, as for my love for numbers. Because I’m equipped to help the pupil achieve their educational goals. I would define myself as a problem solver and a team worker who thrives on rising up to challenges and on achieving objectives. I am a hardworker, dilligent and never say no type of teacher. I am studying BCOM Financial accounting to become an accounting teacher. I worked as a sports teacher, and love my kids. I am an early bird and will never give up on a challenge. As someone who values and practices discipline, empathy and respect, I believe I can be a positive role model to your pupils. The way I see it, being a tutor is all about providing young people with good behavioral examples they can implement when learning and interacting with others. Because I am not committed to just a job, but to the tutor profession as a whole. I place high value on constant learning and I always take the initiative when it comes to attending conferences, workshops and talks that can prepare me to be a better tutor. Tutoring is a great way to help somebody in need.

I have received formal training on tutoring from Wits university, I have tutored first and second years in Computer Science (Java and Python programming), first years in Chemistry (Practical labs) and High School learners in Maths. I have a drive to make a difference, following from the assistance I have received in my own academic life. I Matriculated top of my class (2010), and graduated top of my class (2014). I have a strong academic background and I know that it is because of the help I received from my tutors.

I am a well energetic tutor, I'm a graduate of statistics (B.sc Honours). I am currently studying towards my Master's Degree in Financial Economics at the University of Johannesburg. I am a passionate and talented teacher employing creative teaching strategies to engage students fully in the learning process.
