I am Mechanical Design Engineer at Denel Vehicle Systems. I am busy with my Masters in Mechanical engineering(majorinh in ballistics. I am passionate about maths and teaching it. My in depth background in calculus allows me to be able to tutor maths from high school, right up to university level. I love running and I have completed the Comrades marathon once.

I design vehicle subsystems on military vehicles using a 3D CAD system.I carry out calculations to verify and improve the designs and produce manufacturing drawings. I am involved in researching and developing new cutting edge products for the company.

BSc Mechanical Engineering - University of Cape Town
I was a part of a wonderful organization, Khan Academy, whereby I would assist underprivileged students by translating maths videos into Xhosa.

I passed my matric maths exam with a 90% symbol. I have taught high school maths throughout my university career and all of my students significantly improved their grades. My main focus is always on getting the students to understand maths without the need to remember concepts.
