I am a young individual studying to become an accounting and mathematics educator. I completed my Bcom Accounting sciences degree in 2019 but chose to come back to my passion of teaching. I am mad about helping others and could think of nothing greater than being able to help someone achieve academically and find their passion for a subject. I began teaching English before I even got my B.Ed. When I was in High School with 2 years left to graduate, a student transferred in from Taiwan. She could not speak a word of English and was due to graduate at the same time as me. I am proud to say, that with her dedication as well as my own, she was able to graduate in the same time as a First Language English speaker. We are still good friends today! I knew then that Education was my calling! No matter your age, your interests or your background, I believe we can learn a lot from each other. I always make it a goal to teach from a point of what interests you as the student.

I study BIT (IS) at the University of Pretoria - the IS stands for information systems - so basically, I study statistics with IT which is basically mathematics... I do sailings as a sport, sing in Tuks Camerata and tennis as a fun hobby with friends. I am easy going and fun to learn with.

I am a goal driven, organized person. I’m a qualified teacher at Carpe Diem Academy and love working with children. I am busy with my honors in Applied Psychology. I like to make a difference with children and there academic achievements.

I am first year applied psychology student at SACAP in Pretoria and even though I am a full time student I’d love to take up the opportunity to tutor and help those who need it like I did back in High School. I know tips and tricks and was always that one friend who’d help out in school when someone didn’t understand something. I am a tutor in training at a study centre close to where I live and with this experience I believe I am learning to make a difference in peoples lives.

I'm probably the weirdest teacher you will ever have. I love learning and that is important to me, so I want my students to get to a point where they can start to love learning too. I don't do things the same way most teachers do and I try to keep my lessons focused on things you enjoy because when you have fun, you learn. You aren't going to like everything you learn in school and that's ok, you don't have to but you shouldn't have to hate it either. If you are willing to make mistakes and learn from them, work hard and sometimes work smart ;) I think you will enjoy the way I teach. I will only ever ask you to do YOUR best and that is good enough for me. In turn, I will give you MY best every time we meet, so that you can reach your full potential. I'm a final year BSc student majoring in astronomy, physics, computational and applied mathematics. I have a strong background in python and c++ development. I've enjoyed many years of mentoring students, I hope to provide anyone that comes under my tutelage with strong foundational knowledge that they can apply to throughout their academic career.
