I discovered my passion for teaching two years ago. After becoming a parent, I knew that working with children was going to be my destiny. Then, when I took a teaching job two years ago and realized this is where I was meant to be. I spent the last year teaching the most wonderful class of children who taught me what it means to be a teacher. I have a long road ahead of me, but I am looking forward to the journey. I spent some time during the year working along side some Occupational Therapists to help some of the children I was teaching and I learnt so much from them. I love watching children learn new things and come to understand the world a little more each day.

I am a 24 year old, qualified diagnostic Radiographer. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, reading and learning new things. I have been told that I am good at teaching. So here I am, trying out this tutoring thing.

Hi there! My name is Stacey. I am a qualified high school mathematics teacher at a top Mode C school in Johannesburg and I also have my honours degree in education. I am also a mathematics tutor after hours. I love what I do! I feel that mathematics is so important for your future and our future as a country and I would like to help you stay open to the many opportunities mathematics holds for you. Good Day Sir/Madam, My name is Shingai Chikwanda and I am currently studying towards two Bachelors degrees in Psychology and in Child and Youth Devleopment through Monash University. I have worked extensively for the past 6 years teaching and tutoring pupils (including remedial and special needs pupils) between the ages of 4 and 21 in a variety subjects, though my passion and area of expertise is English. I have gained valuable work experience and I am interested in contributing the knowledge I have acquired throughout the years to better the knowledge of others. My English skills have been commended and recognized throughout my academic career.  My proudest academic achievements are earning a Gold Certificate in the English Olympiad during my matric year,  a distinction in the IEB NSC matric examinations for English and the commendation and subsequent selection of one of my English essays to be featured on a course unit blog at UBCO. I also completed an Oxford Seminars TESOL course on January 13, 2014 with a grade of 84%. My certification afforded me the opportunity to work as an effective tutor and OT facilitator. The most rewarding experience I had through this work was teaching a special needs girl how to read, write and speak. With experience as an IT Monitor, a Prefect, a Forum Representative, the leader of a Student Organization in high school (2011) as well as being commended for my deportment, I am equipped with the organizational, technological, communication and listening skills that I believe are essential for a dependable and respectable educator. I am a patient and motivational person, who enjoys the rewards that come with teaching. I am a very passionate educator with experience teaching from Grade 3 up to Grade 12. I have been a personal tutor for over 4 years and achieved outstanding results. I have also specialised in remedial teaching thus affording me the opportunity to work on the level of the learner and build their confidence in themselves.

I am a 4th year BE.d Student with Mathematics & Accounting as my major subjects. I am passionate about teaching and guiding learners to achieve their full potential.
