Hi there! My name is Stacey. I am a qualified high school mathematics teacher at a top Mode C school in Johannesburg and I also have my honours degree in education. I am also a mathematics tutor after hours. I love what I do! I feel that mathematics is so important for your future and our future as a country and I would like to help you stay open to the many opportunities mathematics holds for you. I am dedicated to helping you and I always go above and beyond to make sure you achieve your learning goals. My goal in teaching is to foster the acquisition of a base of skills to facilitate further learning and thinking. I guide students in critical thinking, problem solving, and the application of general principles. These skills will equip students for a broad range of demands in future academic settings and careers. I am passionate about teaching and helping students come to love the act of learning. For myself, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. One of my hopes as a teacher is to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them.
