Hi, I'm Kgolagano. I'm currently staying in Montana, Pretoria. I completed my matric in 2019 and I'm currently doing my second year studying BSc Computer Science at Unisa. I played first team netball for Pretoria High School for Girls. I recently started a project at a school in Hammanskraal (Alfred Maubane High School) where I helped the class of matric 2020 apply for university, I then realised that their marks were too low and I decided to tutor the students to help them improve their marks.

I am a dedicated individual with a passion for helping others and being able to help others tackle tough subjects that I enjoy! I have done my AS and A Levels in the Cambridge syllabus and am striving to do a marketing degree in communications. Through patience and hard work I believe I can help any student reach their academic goals, and as a student myself I am able to connect with clients on a realistic level. I have clever, easy to remember study techniques and can adapt to any syllabus and situation.

My name is Smiso Sikakane. I am 25 years old and if I had to use a fee words to describe myself: I am dedicated, consistent and always aim at making a difference by helping and giving I am a qualified foundation phase teacher. I just completed my B-Ed Hons in Childhood Education. I was hired as a tutor coordinator and used to train and manage tutors for the department of childhood education. I love working with children and students and I believe that we can learn from each other because iron sharpens iron. I am willing to instill growth, confidence and innovation in students who I will hopefully get the opportunity of working with. I am currently studying a BSc Physiology and Biochemistry at the University of Johannesburg. I am ambitious to grow myself and others around me. I enjoy teaching and would go out of my way to assist someone in understanding.

I am a fourth year national diploma in mechanical engineering student.I am solely using my experience and skills to help out students in their studies.I am a well-built tutor having worked for international tutor company by the name of Studypool and been successful at it.I guess if I was asked the reason I chose online tutoring I would simply say I am trying to be the people I never had in my past school days.i struggled a lot at high school I didn't even know about tutoring in those days so I'm only bringing services to the ones who need it the most and often times having nowhere to go for assistance.

I am kind, caring and patient. I am passionate about accounting and would love to share my knowledge of accounting with you. My tutoring style ensures that you are able to apply what you learn, through the use of real world examples to ensure deeper understanding and application.

Education is one of my passions, I teach in a fun and easily understandable way. I focus on understanding my learners needs and the way they learn. For example some learners need the basic principles to be clearly explained to them while others learn well by repetition or by knowing how to do the tasks. I have experience teaching people from various backgrounds and special need learners as well.

English was my absolute favourite subject in high school, which led to my distinctions both in English and AP English (86% and 84% respectively) when matriculating. Besides becoming a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society after my first year of undergrad, I have successfully completed my majors in English literary studies and Media studies at Wits University and am currently pursuing my third major in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

I'm a fourth-year Engineering student at the University of Cape Town and I love people, learning and gallivanting! I enjoy helping people to understand the content, at school or university level, that they struggle with. My goal is to help you achieve your goals while providing a friendly, fun and diligent environment for you to actively pursue success as you see it. The marks don't make the person, our character and how we approach growth in life does! P.S. Science has always been a big interest in my life. When I was young child, I was fascinated with science and the world around me. I subscribed to a science magazine and obtained my first microscope when I was 10 years old. I told my parents that I cannot wait to go to high school and start learning the different sciences in detail. I fell in love with science, especially chemistry. My favorite teacher in school was my science teacher and she inspired me to become a teacher of science. I want to educate and inspire students to see science as I do and that it is an amazing subject that explains the world around us. My educational philosophy stems from my experience during school. My aim is to create a classroom environment that simulates fair and equal opportunity, cultivate inquirers and self-directed learners. Students should become critical thinkers and problem solvers as this will benefit them in all aspects of their school subjects and life outside of the classroom. My philosophy is to inspire and enrich the minds of students so that they can see that science does not end in the classroom and that they can use it to understand the world around us and to cultivate lifelong learners. I believe that science is a verb. You learn science through doing it. My educational and teaching approach is formulated through experiments and doing numerous activities that engage students mentally and physically to promote an exciting learning environment. As an ATL coordinator I have seen the value of incorporating the ATL skills into your classroom. These skills help form the student, not only as a learner but as a person. These skills will help the students after school and teach them valuable lifelong lessons. Sport and extracurricular activities are a big part of my life as I believe this helps form students in an engaging way. I enjoy coaching rugby and athletics while getting to know the students in a more informal setting. I believe that sport will also improve their performance in the classroom. In my spare time I like going to the gym with my wife. I enjoy travelling the world and that is why I want to work at a new country and an international school as this will help me experience different cultures.
