I achieved a low 90 for Maths in matric through IEB and and achieved a low 90 for introduction to calculus in my first year at the university of pretoria. I have always loved maths and it has always been a strong field of mine.

I hold and engineering degree and am very good at Mathematics, I also understand how to explain mathematics to make it simple for others to understand. Maths is not scary it can be really rewarding when you know how to think about a problem.

I am patient, caring and understanding and will go the extra mile to help the student understand the work at hand. If a certain approach to aid in the understanding of the material does not work I will keep trying until I find one that works for the student, I am flexible and adaptable when it comes to methods of teaching.

I am passionate about Maths and currently doing my Phd Molecular Parasitology at University of Pretoria, I am highly motivated, result driven, eager to learn and explore, works well under pressure to meet strict deadlines and a passion for the work I do and excellent interpersonal skills. I have strong interest in molecular biology and microbiology and I aspire to be a Medical Scientist.

I always enjoyed working with numbers and had a natural talent in Maths from a young age. However, I understand how daunting Maths can be and am able to work at varying paces to ensure that the content is understood.

I enjoy mathematics as a subject. I enjoy exploring and learning more about the subject content every day and I would like to share may knowledge and understanding with people and learners who are equally interested or need support to better understand the content.

I have always done well in my mathematics and did some work at Wits tutoring second years for the better much of two years and tutored at local schools for three. In my time I have dealt with a lot of adversity since well it might be a challenging topic to grasp for most people it requires patience before anything else.

I have extensive experience tutoring maths to both high school and primary school students. Most people find maths scary because of how strange it seems at first glance. I try to make people see that it isn't as hard as they think it is and that they can do it. In my time as a tutor I have learned how to make maths seem less threatening but also how each individual has a different approach to learning. Often it only takes a bit of patience and dedication.

Mathematics has always been my passion. From high school where maths was my strongest subject, to earning a degree in mathematics from an accredited University in USA. I have always enjoyed mathematics, and my recent work experience as a mathematics specialist at Columbia Southern University made me realize my passion for teaching.

As a medical student (4th year @ the University of Pretoria), I am able to explain and teach all Mathematical and Scientific topics in an easy-to-understand way. We will find the best way for you to understand and recognise what it required from you, then work on recipes to approach the topics.
