I am a N.Dip Mechanical Engineering graduate, studied at TUT and graduated in 2014. I recently acquired completed a certificate in Advanced Project Management through UCT. I work for BMW in the Purchasing and Supplier Network Division as a Supplier Quality Engineer, having worked for Ford of Southern Africa - November/ 2015 to May/ 2017 as a Quality Engineer responsible for Quality System Implementation for the Launch Program; Nissan South Africa - July/ 2005 to October/ 2015 as Process Technician, growing through the ranks until my resignation when I worked as a Quality Engineer responsible for new model launch and current models in the Molding and Paint Application plants. My areas of interests are in Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Mathematics and Strength of Materials, I am currently a B-Tech Mechanical Engineering student at Unisa.

I am currently finishing off my degree in economic science with majors in maths and economics at WITS university . I have completed maths 3 last year and finishing off economics and insurance and risk management this year .

I am currently a Manager: Electronic Communications with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission. I have recently completed a BSc in Computer Science with Unisa. I also have a BA, BA Hons in Media Studies and BSc Hons in Computer Science from Unisa. I am passionate about teaching.

I am a hardworking, conscientious and caring person with extensive knowledge of offering advice, support, rehabilitation, guidance and learning therapy to clients who have experienced trauma, hardship or learning difficulties. I have a proven ability to empathise with individuals, whilst retaining an objective and realistic approach to their learning skills and learning difficulties. I am good at conceptualising and organising things. I am comfortable working and communicating with people from all backgrounds. I have got patience with a calm manner. I also have experience of working with young people and vulnerable adults. I have developed a mature attitude and personality towards general life aspects and life outlooks, as well as developing and obtaining a person centered approach towards learning therapy and counselling. I am keen to find a challenging position within an ambitious working and teaching environment, where I will be able to continue to increase my work experience and develop my learning abilities. I see problems as the only doorway to creative solutions and I am able, as well as confident and flexible to adapt to new challenging work circumstances. I can work well under pressure, alone or as a member of a group. I am highly motivated and passionate to accept responsibilities and to gain exposure in a climate of continuous learning, as I believe that it is of crucial and vital importance to engage in future self-development. Regarding my hobbies, I enjoy collecting old middle age structures and enjoy reading any type of inspirational, motivating and realistic kind of life lesson books. I also enjoy taking part in tennis, ringtennis/tenniquoit, jogging and swimming as a physical sport; I love to do gardening in my free time and also enjoy watching rugby, tennis and cricket as a social sport, during my own free relaxation time. I know I could do a proper job as professional tutor, if given the golden opportunity to prove myself. I believe there is a lot to be said for a teachable, learning and positive growing willing attitude. I am looking forward to learning, while working with the guidelines of your company and aim to understand the long term goals and objectives, so that I can best service its interest and commit to bringing them about.

I am a mother of 2 boys so patience and nurturing are attributes that come standard. I have obtained 4 distinctions in my Matric year for Mathematics, Accounting, Afrikaans and Physiology. I've obtained my BCompt degree with majors in Accounting and Auditing and distinctions in Economics, Quantitative Management and Cost and Management Accounting. I am now on Operational Level of CIMA. I use fun and creative ways or acronyms for remembering key points/formulae. I think it's imperative to enjoy studying and laugh a little in between. I encourage the use of hard copies, scribbling notes and different colours of highlighters as these play a major role in etching certain concepts into the human mind. I have a bubbly personality and can turn even the most boring of occassions into a lively event.

I have many years of mentoring, tutoring and teaching experience in the Foundation phase and Intermediate phase. My career objectives is to continue gaining valuable skills in Education in order to facilitate my learning, teaching and professional development, and to continue using best practice thinking to improve and enhance processes at a progressive and holistic institution. I enjoy working with children and would like help them achieve their goals by providing them with a solid learning foundation, to enable their reach their highest potentials.
