I am a 26 year old who has decided to go back to school to pursue being a CA (SA). I therefore, am doing an Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences and will do my CTA starting in 2018. I hold a BCom Financial Management degree and then did a BCom (Honours) in Business Management, both from the University of Pretoria. I have an open, accommodating and friendly persona and also love working in areas that increase the education system in South Africa.

Math is viewed as scary and intimidating by many students, and I want to show them that math can be fun and exiting. I enjoy solving complex issues and problems and I am also extremely patient when it comes to struggling students.

I took higher grade maths until my first year at university. I enjoy teaching with visual aids, music and through the use of many examples. I have a lot of energy, which is carried through into my teaching style. I believe that each student works at their own pace and can be adaptable based on this.

I am Erick Tshisuaka Kabongo, currently a student at the South African College of Applied Psychology where I am pursuing a degree in Applied Social Sciences. My passion for teaching and the tremendous results of my achievement are the two fundamental drives for teaching. It is these two elements that also motivate me to keep teaching others although I am pursuing a career in the Social Sciences. I have always believed that everyone of us has the ability to excel and achieve great results in whatever field they may be, and regardless of their background, race, culture or gender.
