I have an A in GCSE (Ordinary Level) Mathematics and an A in Advanced Level Mathematics ( Pure Maths and Statistics). I have an Honours Degree in Finance and as part of my degree i took Computational Mathematics and Statistics courses which i passed with flying colours.

After realizing that I'm able to do maths. I practiced my maths almost every day and attended extra classes. I understand what concepts most students struggle with since I was once in their shoes. I can also teach them methods to always stay on top of their work. I have a, "get back up stronger mentality" which led to my mathematics distinction in matric. I know I can get you there too.

Mathematics was my strongest subject in school and after undergoing intense mathematical subjects in university, my knowledge of the foundations of the subject which are taught in school are proficient. I find it easy to explain mathematical concepts such that it is easy for the student to grasp.

Maths is often viewed as a daunting subject, when in fact it really does not have to be. I myself had a mental block towards maths, once I started to change my attitude and view towards it, math grew very near and dear to my heart. I managed to even pass University calculus.

I see myself as a life long student and a 'Jack of all trades'. I love Mathematics, Science, Geography, History and Literature and I also like imparting my acquired knowledge to society. My philosophy in life is to always have a passion for excellence, because i believe it breeds amazing results and always brings out the best in every endeavor.

I am Young and Energetic and very in tune with modern, young and urban culture. I love people and experiencing events and environments that’s relatively new, different and “vibey”. I have a passion for music and fashion (not one genre and no specific style). I strive at pushing myself to my utmost limits, no matter what I do, and don’t give up even when it’s the only option. I have a fear for failing, and thus avoid it at all costs. I am a quick learner and try to grasp new ideas with an open mind. I am open to trying new things and I am mind-set on experiencing life. I have a very open heart and love serving people and helping those in need. There’s never a problem too big to solve. I live for God; well I strive to, but fall short because I am human. I have always dreamed big and have never let people and their opinions illustrate my life. I respect authority, because there’s always a reason why they’ve earned their title. Truth is, though, I am not perfect, no one ever is, but it is what I strive for.

My passion is helping learners to get from where they are, academically, to where they need to be - and further! My experience includes private tutoring for Gr 1 - 12 in English and Afrikaans (HL and FAL). I am the mother of three grown sons, have my own transport and enjoy interacting with families in order to get to know the learner better - which in turn makes the tutoring process easier and happier for both myself and the learner. I make use of various styles of teaching - depending on the learner's needs. Exam prep is a time of fun exercises in the form of quizzes, multiple choice questions and verbal answering.

I am hard working, friendly, helpful and adaptable. I can persevere through challenging circumstances and work well under pressure. I like to constantly be busy. my HOBBIES/INTERESTS are Gym, friends, outdoors, children, socializing, meeting new people, and helping others obtain their possible best.
