Mathematics Literacy tutors in Randburg

I breakdown various mathematics concepts to a level that a students will understand. I hold a Bcom Honours in Economics from University of Johannesburg and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CIDA City Campus. From University days I am passionate about sharing knowledge with others so that they can better understand various academic concepts. This year I had an opportunity to tutor a UNISA student in Financial accounting and they got a distinction. It gives me great satisfaction to see students understand what they are studying as that empowers them excel

I was the best achiever in this subject during my Matric year. I have mastered this subject and I want to help other people to master it too! I will help the student to understand the concepts to the best of their abilities and help them get a distinction for this subject.

I loooove Mathematics so much that I even got a Distinction for it in Matric. We use it everyday in our basic reasoning and decision making. This is why I'm constantly brushing up my skills and always grabbing the opportunity to teach or assist someone with the subject.

I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria. I consistently achieved distinctions for Mathematics throughout high school. I also completed several Mathematics modules at University.

Throughout my primary school yers I have never gotten a grade that was lower than a B. I believe I can help learners to grow and understand Mathematics. On a personal lever I enjoy mathematics and I believe that having a tutor who is passionate about what they teach, plays an important role towards the student.

I have teaching experience in the subject. I have set papers and tutored students in the subject content. I have also studied how to teach Mathematical literacy in university. I am able to teach the subject up until matric level.

I have a degree in civil engineering, and therefore have an expansive experience with this subject. Subjects that i covered were engineering maths (which is a heavy focus on calculus), applied mathematics (which is a mixture of static and dynamic physics) and basic chemistry on a university level, in addition to my engineering subjects. I have also taught Cambridge mathematics at a high school for a year.

In my final year of high school (2018), I had achieved 89% for Mathematics Literacy. I am able to help students who have trouble learning the different contents of Mathematics Literacy by using innovative ways I have created to understand the formulas and the logic behind the answers. I am patient with my students and will go over the work as much as they would like me to.

I successfully completed core maths in school, when I matriculated in 2015. Thus, maths lit is an easier and simpler aspect for me to convey and explain. As well as create understanding and adaptability.

Thanks to having two young daughters, currently in Grade 3 and Grade 5, I have revisited maths recently. I did get my matric in maths, as well as doing maths 101 and statistics 101 at University as part of my B Comm. I am patient at tutoring maths and explaining methodology
