I am a final year student at the University of Pretoria, studying Bsc Applied Maths with Physics and Chemistry as my electives. I have always wanted to become a teacher and have a passion for helping others understand better. I have tutored secondary school students before. I will always try to explain stuff in a way that you will understand, with plenty of patience ( I will never make you cry at the dining table ;) )

I was appointed to supplement grade 9 mathematics classes at HTS John Vorster by teaching a compulsory extra class once a week. Unfortunately this program was interrupted by the Covid-19 lockdown.
Private tutor
I tutored 2 grade 9 boys in Maths and Physical Sciences Also, I home-schooled a matric girl in Maths.

General Maths & Science
I was taught to never lose my curiosity and to always ask questions. The answers I got were never straight-forward, but rather taught me how to think so that I can figure it out by myself. I believe this is the best way to learn (especially with Maths) and always try to foster thinking skills instead of providing a single answer to a problem.
