Biology tutors in Gauteng

have been tutoring since 2016 and have a passion for it and for the clients and kids I work with. I work as an assistant teacher as well for a program called STEM ( science technology engineering mathematics) I have worked here since 2016. I have a great understanding of the subjects, and will be able to provide individual support and test preparation.

I have done well in high school and went on to study and major in biology at the university. Further, I was a teaching assistant for biology courses at university and also currently a tutor at UNISA for animal and plant diversity. Therefore, i am comfortable with the subject and I know i have what is takes to assist others understand the subject better.

I have an honors degree in chemistry, I have all the basic knowledge and expertise in chemistry subjects these include organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, and inorganic chemistry. I did ALEVELS Chemistry Biology and Geography, which are also subjects I can teach. I have two years of industrial experience working as a laboratory chemist focusing on chemical analysis of manufactured medicines. I am currently studying for a masters degree in chemistry majoring nanotechnology

My degree is a medical and health science based degree and thus I have had extensive courses and education in human and general biology. When I was in high school it was my favourite class and I have experience with the South African curriculum.

With an Undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Medical Genetics, I'm confident that I can not only help a student understand their work, but also help them grasp a "big picture" view of the content and how it all fits together.

This is the subject I feel most comfortable with. I received top marks for this subject during school, as well as my University subjects. The topics are super interesting, and I find that I always find a way to explain a difficult concept in an easier way.

I loved life sciences in school and I always excelled as I found it so interesting but also found different techniques to help me remember all the information. I have learnt many different ways to learn and remember information and I can help you do the same !

I got 85% for Life Sciences (biology) in Matric. I am great at breaking down complex concepts, and terminology in a way that is simple, and easy to remember, whilst ticking the boxes for what teachers/markers are looking for. I am also great at prac. work.

I am passionate about Biology having the opportunity to study Biology, Physiology and Anatomy at the University of the Witwatersrand, where I obtained my BSc. Intend to pursue my passion further by studying towards a post-graduate certificate in education with the aim of becoming a Biology (Life Sciences) teacher.

I am currently an Occupational Hygiene student with 4 years of Physiology modules completed (some with distinction). I love studying biological processes and concepts and helping other people better understand these concepts. I think that with the right help, anyone can understand the biology that is all around us and makes us who we are.
