I thoroughly enjoyed Biology in school, so much so that it influenced what I chose to study today. I am able to explain difficult concepts in an easy way and have a thorough understanding of the subject.

Biology forms a very important aspect of my career/studies. I managed to matriculate with a distinction in biology(Life Sciences). I try to make sense of the subject by using practical analogies in order to remember the concepts for a longer period of time.

I have a love for biology. Not only did I do biology in matric, I am also a biomed student, I continue learning more about this subject everyday. I also enjoy teaching others about all of the fascinating aspects of this subject.

I have been Exposed to this Subject for numerous years with work. I also attained 98% on my Anatomy and Physiology Exams while studying as a Paramedic. So admittedly I have a very strong focus on the Human Aspect of Biology.

As a medical student (4th year @ the University of Pretoria), I am able to explain and teach all Mathematical and Scientific topics in an easy-to-understand way. We will find the best way for you to understand and recognise what it required from you, then work on recipes to approach the topics.

My undergrad and postgrad degrees are in the field of biological sciences. I majored in human molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry. I have tutored undergrad students in the subjects of genetics and biochemistry. I obtained honours and masters degrees in the field of genetics. I understand biology well, I have tutored the subject previously and I am looking forward to tutoring it again.

Biology was without a doubt my best and favorite subject. I finished high school with the 3rd highest mark in my school. Biology never felt like work to me, it was the one subject I could just go to and enjoy and I think that's what made me good at it. What many people get wrong about biology is thinking its extremely complicated and difficult. Its not . Yes, the words may be long and strange, but if you just break it down simply, you sill realise that the process are extremely logical and easy to understand and that its only the words that make it appear challenging.

Biology started as one of my worst subjects and as I focused more I started to love it more. It was great to know more about myself on a basic and scientific level as well as know more about the world around me. I believe I have a great way of allowing Biology to be fun and interesting rather than just a task or something you feel you need to parrot learn. A subject to enjoy rather than loath.

I completed a year of BSC Genetics, Human Physiology and Psychology for which I was awarded the Golden Key Award for the top 15 % of University students. I have a passion for Teaching Biology and strive to ensure that the students meet their goals. I have improved my students grades markedly and most notably improved a students average by 20%.
