Biology tutors in Gauteng

I've been a part-time tutor for biology at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University and this opportunity has afforded me an opportunity to understand the diversity of students and their learning styles and how to help each one of the to reach their maximum potential despite their differences. I'm a Lifelong learner and I aspire to make the learning journey as enjoyable as it can be and pass down the knowledge acquired.

I have tutored biology to many of y students. One student who had 10% fro most of her tests got 80% and above after our tutoring sessions. Biology comes easy to me when teaching it, I have rhymes and other ways to help the students to remember the biological names. I also give out summaries about the work and what we have done during the tutoring session.

Well I'm also a student so this stuff is basically my day job, but it's not just that I know it pretty well, it's also that it fascinates me and i'm genuinely passionate about learning and teaching it.

Took biology in highschool. Found the subject fascinating so naturally did very well at it. Nothing below a A or a B. Also have great easy methods to understanding topics And tutored some of my fellow classmates who struggled with certain topics in the subject by adapting it to their learning style

I am currently in my third year of a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and chemistry which deals alot with biology aspects. In high school I had biology as a subject and did well and it also stimulates my interest.

I ended my matric year with a final mark of 86% for Life sciences / Biology. I am passionate about the science of all living things and truly believe that if you instill an interest in learners and show them how incredible the world is, they will improve academically.

I got a 73 percentage for Biology in Matric and am very passionate about the subject. I always explained difficult concepts to my peers. I am a very passionate but patient teacher and will enjoy helping someone understand the wonders of Biology.

Biology was the lesson I most looked forward to during my high school career. I was absolutely fascinated by the material we studied and have a passion for the subject. I would love to help ignite this passion in others. I received a high ‘B’ in my matric year.

I have a great love for biological sciences and I have a degree in zoology and genetics. I have a good understanding of the subject. I passed life sciences with a distinction and I aspire to teach it when I become a teacher.
