I am a first language Afrikaans speaking female, 33 years of age, so fully confidant in teaching someone else this language, whether it is their first or second language, young or old. I have a passion for people and seeing them prosper.

one of my home languages is Afrikaans, i however attended an English school and I am able to assist specifically English speaking students with Afrikaans as a first additional language at a school level.

Afrikaans is my first language and offering learning support in this area an enormous passion of mine. My experience with Afrikaans as my home language goes far beyond everyday use. I studied Afrikaans at University-level and used it on several platforms during my years of work experience: as a teacher, as a screenwriter and as a speech and drama coach. Because my home language is Afrikaans. I grew up in an Afrikaans home. I also have a lot of resources that will help. I went to an Afrikaans Primary school and High School where Afrikaans was our first language and we had Afrikaans as one of our subjects.

I was raised bilingually growing up, therefore I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans. I was educated in English in both primary and high school. However, I did speak Afrikaans almost daily at home. I have tutored Afrikaans before and I know I could assist in getting students to improve their Afrikaans.

I am the best tutor for this subject because it is my home language. I love teaching Afrikaans. I almost obtained a distinction in Grade 12 for Afrikaans. I have a great understanding of the language.

I am Afrikaans and have a good understanding of how to teach this subject as it was one of my favorite subjects in school. I have a lot of fun ways to teach the subject and adapt according to the student’s needs.

I am a First Additional Language tutor for Afrikaans. I believe that learning a language is most effective when hearing and speaking it, therefore, I try to conduct most of my Afrikaans lessons in Afrikaans. I enjoy helping students and watching their knowledge of the language grow! I assist all grades up to grade 12.

Afrikaans is not my first language but I manage to teach Afrikaans to my learners. Most them come from homes where Afrikaans is the 3rd and 4th language. As a educator I obtain good marks from my learners. I enjoy the language and I am fluent in the language

Although Afrikaans wasn't one of my extra subjects during my degree, it is my home language and therefore close to my heart. I have always excelled in this subject during my whole school career and are still aware of everything the subject requires.
