I am half Afrikaans and have excelled in Afrikaans throughout my schooling career getting a distinction in my final matric marks. I have also tutored Afrikaans before to a failing student who passed their grade 12 with 70%.

My home language is Afrikaans and I believe that there is a lot that I can teach. I also completed Primary and High School in Afrikaans so I will be able to tutor learners on the basics of the language

Since Afrikaans is my home language, I feel more connected to this language. I find great joy in sharing my knowledge and concepts to people/students who are willing to learn. Language isn't just words, it's a primal way of communicating and through that we can connect to far more people.

I’ve started speaking Afrikaans when I was 8 years old in primary school. I have a great understanding of the language, especially when tutoring First Additional Language. I can also tutor it as a Second Additional Language. I have always been between an A and a B student in my class as I went to an Afrikaans school when I was in primary

I've often been asked to help learners with Afrikaans homework and past papers and I find that my understanding of the subject is still as instinctive as when I was doing it back in school. It also happens to be the subject I enjoyed the most and the subject that yielded me my highest mark

My mother tongue is English however, I attended a dual-medium school and received a distinction for Afrikaans in matric. I was a consistent top achiever in this subject and am still comfortable enough to hold a conversation in Afrikaans.

I have studied and taught English, Afrikaans, and Maths. I find these subjects interesting. I want students to; understand the subjects, to be able to do the work and then, to be able to answer questions, when working and later, when writing tests. I find supporting students and helping them to see how special and capable they are, my main goals.

I achieved a 78% for matric. I'm passionate about the language. I feel as if I am able to explain concepts in a way that is easy to understand. I am able to explain the concepts in English as well. I am fluent in both languages.

I am Fully Bilingual and find Afrikaans to be such an Amazing and Fun language once you grasp it . It is my Home language and i excelled in it at school tremendously . It is easy to learn the concepts and basics and no student should have to have sleepless nights over an Afrikaans Exam or test !

I love working with kids. I grow up in an Afrikaans speaking household, i went to an Afrikaans primary school and high school. I graduated matric with an 79% for Afrikaans huistaal. I enjoy teaching kids new things.
