I'm currently studying and working to become a Chartered Accountant. Numbers are a large part of my day to day life. I enjoy teaching and sharing what I've learnt in order to really help others and make a difference. Maths can be an enjoyable subject and I'd love to help you see that :)

I have done Mathematics at a university level from first to second year and passed it very well. I have also tutored my younger sister during her final year of high school. Some specifics regarding my mathematical experience include advanced calculus and linear algebra at a university level. I am also currently tutoring grade 11 and grade 7 students in mathematics so adaptability is one of my strong suits.

Being an electrical engineering student, we are taught to tackle very complex mathematical problems. With this knowledge and skills obtained, I am well equipped to teach you ways in which to tackle your own mathematical problems efficiently and easily.

I have been doing sciences since high school. I finished my O'Level studies with 8As and 3Bs then majored in sciences for my Advanced level high school as well. I then took up Chemical Engineering in Varsity and I have basically been majoring in physics, chemistry and maths. I am also good at report writing, editing, referencing and teaching reading skills.

I offer a unique teaching style which has afforded all my students significant improvements in their marks. I am confident about my ability to produce results, enhance understanding and reduce subject stress: my 19 years of tutoring experience, Masters degree qualification (with distinction), unique aptitude for explaining concepts intelligibly, unremitting patience, consistent punctuality and impeccable track-record of improvement in marks, are testament to the utility of my services. I know my valued clients bear witness to these facts.

I am a UCT graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science specializing in Quantitative Finance. During my undergraduate program I was a tutor as working and I loved it. I am a Maths guru! The idea of teaching other people has always been one of my strengths as I would describe myself as someone passionate about all I do. I am patient with my students and will make it a mission that they improve their grades by ensuring all concepts are well understood.

I am currently in the process of attaining a B.Ed degree in education. I have quite a bit of experience working in schools and tutoring learners within my community. Through my degree, I have been exposed to many learning areas which include Mathematics. I feel that with the correct tutor and attitude Math can be made fun.

I was in top-set maths throughout high school and achieved 89% in matric. I am happy to help with specific topics/modules, help throughout the year and/or help with prepping for tests and exams. I am committed to helping my students build a solid foundation for each subject with the fundamental concepts so that new sections/topics are easier to learn and understand.

I have taught math for many years covering the CAPS, IEB and Cambridge curricula . I set a lot of homework for my students as the only way to do well in mathematics is to tackle as many problems as possible.

I have always been passionate about mathematics. I understand the importance of truly understanding the subject as opposed to just learning the rules as I believe this better equips students to tackle unique problems that they may encounter and generally leads to better performance in tests and exams. I represented Mpumalanga in mathematics competitions in high school (2014) and achieved 95% for mathematics at the end of matric. I have since done a few mathematics courses at university level.
