I focus on trying to break down Mathematics to its very basics and not try and make it too confusing. I want people to not have a negative feeling towards Mathematics and focus on trying to make the individual the most comfortable they can be in Maths. I will do everything I can until the person I’m helping is confident and I will go the extra mile to ensure that they are happy, no matter what it takes

I have many years of experience in learning mathematics at university level and teaching mathematics based on strong theoretical background as well as the application of mathematics in the real world.

I am most experienced at tutoring maths as it has always been my favourite subject. I've been privileged enough to tutor it to pupils of all ages. My natural inclination for maths allowed me to achieve in school consistently in this subject. I am good at identifying gaps in understanding and foundational knowledge. My patience and passion for this subject makes me a well-suited tutor for it.

I am able to offer tutoring services to primary school learners to assist with mathematical skills. I have taught maths at Foundation Phase level and have assisted struggling learners. I believe that success in this area relies on whether the basics of mathematical concepts are understood and therefore I focus on the ensuring the foundation is there and from there we build on those foundations.

I have been tutoring high school and primary school maths since 2016 with very positive results. I got 87% for mathematics in high school. I really enjoy maths, especially algebra and trigonometry. I even took AP maths and did maths in first year at university (UCT) because I love the subject so much.

I achieved a distinction in Maths at a high school and university level. As a result I feel that I can impart knowledge easily as I am throughly confident with the content covered in both Primary and High school Mathematics. I have dealt with complex maths at a University level which allows me to have a better understanding of high school maths.

I've always enjoyed mathematics, and I'm very good at it. When I was in high school, my marks were almost always over 95%. I also have experience tutoring mathematics: I've been offering private tutoring since 2018. All of my students were very happy with their improvements.

I attended one of the top performing academic high schools in South Africa, St Stithians Boys’s College. At this institution I studied both Advanced Program Mathematics and Mathematics, in which I was in the top class for in my grade. I matriculated in 2019, with a distinction in Mathematics of 83%. I am also very passionate about the subject and have a great interest in it, hence why I have chosen to take Mathematics as a course in university, to extend my skills.

I come from a family passionate about mathematics and want to share that passion with others. As someone who used to struggle with maths myself, in junior school, I know that success in this subject comes from hard work and making sure you know your basics. As a recently matriculated student, I am very familiar with the NSC syllabus and the specific things students need to do to gain high marks with the current curriculum. I hope that I can teach students to be confident in their maths abilities and enjoy the subject through our sessions.
