I am a passionate and friendly tutor who enjoys working with figures. At matric, I obtained a distinction in Mathematics. I also obtained distinctions in Engineering Mathematics at the university level. I have extensive experience in teaching and tutoring Mathematics up to tertiary level.

When I was in high school, I had to teach myself mathematics as my original teacher fell ill and the substitute struggled to help us. Through self-learning, I found easy and helpful ways to understand even the most difficult areas of mathematics and I would love to help other learners too.

being exposed to the teaching environment as a volunteer in the Intermediate Phase (Mteteleli JSS), It all came to pass for its appeals to my long interest in engaging with youth as mentorship, development of lesson plans in the new Curriculum Caps and outdoor programs. I run after-school program, tutoring Maths and Assignment assistance at Westlake United Community Trust hall. I worked for Accernetco: Maths and Science clinic NPO doing administrative and communication office work. The duties in the Programme also empower youth through self-development, drug awareness, and environmental education. Administrative tasks related to reporting, monitoring and implementing plans for the program and outreach programmes Coordinate and facilitate meetings. I am computer literate knowing Microsoft pack. Currently, am working at Chrysalis Academy as an admin casual and also responsible for Environmental literacy facilitating assistance

I have completed all mathematics from university. From basic trigonometry, algebra right to differentiating, integration, Fourier Series, Fourier transformation, Laplace transforms. I have the ability to solve complex problems and teach them in simple lay man's terms.

I am patient and have a great ability when it comes to explaining complicated concepts in simple terms. I have 2 years teaching experience, I am thorough in my work and I am always willing to cater and adjust to the needs of the child.

Mathematics is the subject in which I have most experience. I am well trained in grades 1-9, across CAPS, IEB and Cambridge. I understand the task that is math, due to the fact that I once struggled. Once I began receiving tutorials and I started understanding the subject, I fell in love with it.

I am enthusiastic and patient and am currently studying a Bachelor of Education degree in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching, majoring in Mathematics and Economic Management Sciences.

I taught maths and numeracy skills to junior school students (grade 5 -7) through Junior Undiscovered Maths Prodigy Herschel Initiative (JUMP HI) from 2013 to 2015. This was done on a voluntary basis.

I understand the concepts really well and can explain difficult ideas in an understandable way. I have experience in teaching this subject to both very gifted learners as well as learners who truly struggle with the subject, and I can adapt my teaching method to suit each individual learner.
