I am able to teach all English subject related content as I have been doing it for the past 3 years. Being able to express yourself verbally and in writing, especially in todays society, is of the utmost importance.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching this subject. English has always been my strong point in all fields of study. My teaching skills are adaptable to teaching this subject and I have a wide range of knowledge on the different English Skills needed to succeed. I pride myself in my relationship building skills and my enthusiasm for the teaching and learning process. Together we can build on those English skills and accomplish what we want!

There are 4 different skills, namely listening, reading, speaking and writing. In order for an individual to be capable of using a language, they need to comprehend, produce and use these skills in order to be effective in interpersonal communication. Listening and reading are receptive skills because a learner doesn't have to produce these skills, they receive and understand. Speaking and writing are productive because learners have to produce language. As an experienced language teacher, I am proficient in teaching these skills. I am very fluent in my use of English and will be able to teach and develop these skills in learners.

I have a degree in English Literature from Varsity College where I graduated at the top of my class with 19 distinctions. I have a knack for essay writing & have a tried-and-tested essay formula which can be applied to any subject.

As a prolific bibliophile and practicing attorney, I have a very good command of the English language. I have an extensive interest in a variety of fields, including law, health, various hobbies, non-fiction, biographical works, and much more, and would be willing to engage with all ages to increase their English knowledge.

With the exposure I have had, I've been able to expand on key characteristics such as patience, empathy, understanding and care which enables me to be a great tutor. I believe tutoring should be tailored to the specific student and I have become adept in identifying the best means for a student to achieve a deep understanding of the work/subject at hand. I would also consider myself to be quite relatable and I would always ensure that the student is comfortable and confident to participate in lessons and to work towards any goals that are set.

I am fluent in English and have tutored/taught the language for almost 2 years now to students of all ages and levels. I am very motivated and hardworking, I will make sure you achieve your goals! My lessons are very dynamic and diverse- tell me what you want and I will teach you!

English has always been one of my favourite subjects. I am an avid reader and I am fastidious about grammar, punctuation and the likes! In high school, I did both English first language (FAL) and Advanced Programme English. I achieved a distinction for both. I also have experience in teaching English. I am patient and thorough which I feel are both important skills when teaching English. I hope to instil my love of the language in all of my students!

Learning a new language is not easy. It takes courage to decide that one’s goal is to be proficient at speaking a foreign language. I love working with people and helping them succeed by sharing my knowledge and experience with them. I have been teaching English as a foreign language in China where all my students flourished and loved their lessons as much as I did. I am very patient and care about the success of my students. I am TEFL qualified. Experienced in having groups as well as 1-on-1. I can teach all ages.

Reading I am able to adjust my style of teaching to suit the individual child and their unique learning style. I am a passionate reader and enjoy helping students of various ages develop their love for reading too. Vocabulary Developing a rich vocabulary, will not only help with reading, but also expressing oneself in writing. I am the best tutor for helping students develop their repertoire because I am able to do so in a creative, interactive and fun way. Gramer Assisting students develop their writing skills and use of grammar in the primary phase is vitally important. I am best able to assist students in this task by presenting work and grammar rules in an engaging way that helps them to remember and assists in the correct use of grammar in their written work. Writing Writing for a variety of purposes and in a way that uses correct formation and spacing is key in the Primary school phase. I am best able to assist in this subject because of my experience and passion to help each student reach their full potential.
