I am 23 years old and live in Cape Town. I have just completed my fourth year studying a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching. I am fully devoted to child development as I feel very strongly about teaching children independence and facilitating their learning process. I am also an environment enthusiast as our environment plays hand in hand with teaching and learning. I consider myself to be extremely patient and dedicated when put in the teaching and learning field. I am always positive about all situations as having a optimistic outlook on life allows for success and happiness to flourish. I tend to put everyone else's needs before mine as the happiness of others contributes to my happiness. Lessons that I facilitate will most likely have a fun and interactive aspect to it as learning should be fun and self explorative. I look forward to this learning adventure and hope we can achieve what is needed and wanted!

I have studied Foundation Phase Teaching for the past 4 years and know how to Scaffold and build on a learners knowledge in understanding the English language. I know how I would conduct a lesson and what I would need to integrate in order to ensure learning and understanding takes place. I pride myself in having patience when it comes to helping and facilitating learning. As said above, I thoroughly enjoy teaching and learning about the English language as it has always been a strong point for me in all fields on study.

History is still one of my favourite subjects to learn. I did extremely well in this subject at school as I was totally grasped by it. It is one of the most interesting subjects and pride myself in having knowledge in History. I know that I will be able to guide the students and facilitate the learning process well. This is a subject I am passionate about and know I can pass on the passion to the learners as well.
