English has always been one of my favorite subjects. I am an avid reader and I am fastidious about grammar, punctuation and the likes! In high school, I did both English first language (FAL) and Advanced Programme English. I achieved a distinction for both. I also have experience in teaching English.

I love to find ways to make what is often a troubling subject into something enjoyable and manageable! I am patient and dedicated and very positive! I achieved a distinction for mathematics in high school as well as in my first year at university.

I also aim to instil a love of learning and of the subject into my students because I believe that is a great step towards success!

I graduated cum laude (with distinction) from my Psychology honours degree. I am currently working towards my masters in research psychology. I love psychology and I think that I have a thorough and extensive knowledge of the subject. I have also tutored psychology at university level. Having been through the system I understand the challenges that it may bring as well as exactly what is required to be successful. I am flexible, patient and dedicated.

I am patient, flexible and empathetic. I think these are important qualities when it comes to teaching and tutoring any students. I always aim to form a comfortable relationship with my students so that they feel as though they are able to share their concerns with me. I believe that working together towards a goal or towards overcoming difficulties is a great way to build confidence which is essential in learning! I am a very empathetic person and I will always be sensitive to each student's unique challenges when it comes to learning and try my best to work with them to develop a learning strategy that works for them.
