I am a widely experienced teacher and have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for almost 10 years. I have developed and used various teaching techniques to enable language students of all ages and levels to acquire and assimilate English into their language. I am always extensively prepared and go the extra mile to source materials for my students. I make every effort to keep my students motivated and engaged during lessons. I am able to successfully integrate my teaching styles to suit the needs of my students. I have excellent communication and interactive skills. My passion is teaching grammar. I am able to convey any aspect of grammar in a concise and comprehensive manner. The experience I have gained over the past 9 years makes me an extremely proficient teacher. I strive to be professional in every way when dealing with my students, both in individual and group situations. Experience
Kumon English teacher
Learners who are having difficulty with English at school, or who want to improve their English, will come to a Kumon school (franchise) two afternoons a week for lessons. As a teacher there, I taught groups and individual learners using the Kumon method. I worked with primary school and high school learners.
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
As a Foreign Language teacher at TIES, we teach different levels. We start with Beginner, then Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper Intermediate. At the moment I am teaching Upper Intermediate grammar, reading, listening, speaking and writing for 3 hours a day. My last hour is spent teaching communication skills to Intermediate students. At the moment the students at TIES vary in age from 17 to 46, but I have taught students from 6 to 65 in the past. When we have a TEFL course at TIES, I am involved with afternoon lectures, mostly with teaching grammar to the new trainees. I also assist new trainees with lesson planning and observe them teaching foreign language students, after which I give them feedback on their taught lessons. We have at least 6 courses throughout the year.

I completed an intense 4 week TEFL course at TIES, which enables me to teach English as a foreign/second language. This course and the subsequent 9 years of experience as an English language teacher has equipped me with all the skills necessary to teach English grammar and English skills.

I am a qualified teacher and I completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course in 2010. I have been teaching English in this capacity for almost 10 years now, and I have become extremely proficient in teaching all aspects of grammar. I have the ability to teach different grammar concepts in a concise and comprehensive way. I have taught grammar to foreign language students and to new TEFL trainees at the language school where I am currently employed. I am very passionate about teaching grammar as the reward of seeing students improve in their grammar usage is extremely fulfilling.

There are 4 different skills, namely listening, reading, speaking and writing. In order for an individual to be capable of using a language, they need to comprehend, produce and use these skills in order to be effective in interpersonal communication. Listening and reading are receptive skills because a learner doesn't have to produce these skills, they receive and understand. Speaking and writing are productive because learners have to produce language. As an experienced language teacher, I am proficient in teaching these skills. I am very fluent in my use of English and will be able to teach and develop these skills in learners.
