I have been a TEFL teacher for over 2 years now and have been teaching kids from the age of 4 and up. Have been teaching students from beginner to advanced with there pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar.

I am passionate about English literature and enjoy reading. I am able to dive into poetry and understand the deeper meaning behind the poem. Some of the set work I did was, Antony and Cleopatra, The Dream House, Lord of the Flies and Macbeth. I have a good understanding of language rules and my experience in History has given me the ability to structure essays well. I worked hard in English and my results show the effort.

I I am bilingual and am flyer in both English and Afrikaans. I have an understanding of the language and enjoy speaking it. I feel it can be a lot of fun to learn a new language and have always had a love for Afrikaans partly because I am part Afrikaans by blood and also because I simply have a personal love and connection for the language. I have also learnt a lot about how to best teach Afrikaans Second Language. a good understanding of subject content as well as how best to teach it thanks to all I have learnt through my degree and personal life experiences. I am patient and have great understanding for pupils who take longer to understand a given subject or topic due to my own experiences as a child.

I have a very good understanding of English Language as well as Literature. I have always achieved A's and B's in this area. Studying drama all my life has also helped a lot with my understanding of English.

Thoroughly enjoy the subject and I am quite skilled in the area. Language is a fun area to learn as the rules are laid out for you. Learning the exceptions comes from engaging with the language and so one becomes familiar with the language itself.

In matric I received 85% as my final English mark. Since then, I have been tutoring the subject for three years. I also work for an international transcribing company which required an English Language proficiency test.

In high school I achieved more than 80% as my final matric mark for English as my home language. Additionally, having a Master's degree (MSc) in the scientific field requires me to frequently write, edit and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals which undergo a rigorous process of review and revisions. Therefore, I have extensive experience in English writing and communication skills.

I received on average, above 80% for each of my years right from grade 8 to matric in English. I scored the highest in my school for my final speech marks and received countless awards for orator and public speaking events. I am passionate about the subject, that includes literature and grammer, making it easy for me to help you understand concepts better and make them more applicable both to today age and to your own life.
