English Language and Literature tutors in Hout Bay

I have 30yrs experience in remedial and mainstream education from Gr1 to Gr12. I love to read and to inspire others to love literature too. I have helped hundreds of high school students understand poetry.

I love having command over the English language, and teaching others the beautiful art of thoughtful articulated speech. I am passionate about the English language, ever since a young boy. In grade 12, back in 2012, I received a bronze medal for competing in the English Olympiad. I regularly informally help other adults to understand complicated topics in their University and College studies.

I am passionate about English literature and enjoy reading. I am able to dive into poetry and understand the deeper meaning behind the poem. Some of the set work I did was, Antony and Cleopatra, The Dream House, Lord of the Flies and Macbeth. I have a good understanding of language rules and my experience in History has given me the ability to structure essays well. I worked hard in English and my results show the effort.
