I used to own an Edublox Reading and Learning Centre and taught at the reading clinic in Polokwane for several years. There I spesialised in helping children with reading difficulties by developing their visual and auditory memory as well as their comprehension skills.

For this I can help anywhere and in any way.I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans. I can speak both languages well as writing and reading. I entered a reading competition in 2013 and was the Provincial Champion.I entered the WOW spelling competition in 2014 and was crowned the National Champion. So I can assure you that my services is of high quality.

I have a love for all things English, this includes reading, writing and speaking. My experience in the Marketing industry has equipped me with the skills to teach others. Not to mention my almost two years of ESL teaching in Mianyang, China.

When reading any material, the reader should always ask questions while reading to create sense of what is being read. In this you create a thought pattern of what the writer is saying. Stepping away from the text and coming back to read it again can unlock a better insight to comprehension.

I am an active reader and aim to stimulate my vocabulary by learning a new word every week. I also have completed first year and second year university in modules that require extensive reading and analysis such as Anthropology and Research. I am currently studying English literature, thus I am currently aware and practicing writing and critical analysis techniques - poetry, novel, short stories etc. I am passionate about the English language and I am currently enrolled in a TEFL learning course in order to pursue a further teaching degree. I am currently a third year student triple majoring in Psychology, Criminology and English, therefore I can additionally aid in different learning skills for each individual student.

I tought English for a year and I believe it is very important to be able to read English seeing that it is our National Language . If you can read English you can speak it and write it. It is an important factor in our everyday life.

I read non stop. I am an attorney, who loved and still loves to read, whether it is case law, books, articles. One must remember that you must understand what you read, interpret it, make it your own. Reading is fun, if you make it fun.

I enjoy reading, I did a course in varsity which taught me effective reading and how to read fast while grasping the content of the document. I can assist students by teaching them how to read, especially slow readers. I can also edit their work.
