Reading tutors in Eastern Cape

I have a love for all things English, this includes reading, writing and speaking. My experience in the Marketing industry has equipped me with the skills to teach others. Not to mention my almost two years of ESL teaching in Mianyang, China.

I tought English for a year and I believe it is very important to be able to read English seeing that it is our National Language . If you can read English you can speak it and write it. It is an important factor in our everyday life.

I have a BA degree in English and psychology as well as, a PGCE in foundation phase teaching. . I enjoy teaching younger learners and teach Grade 2s on a daily basis. I also have 5 years of teaching experience.

I have always been an overachiever when it comes to reading. Since Grade one, I was already able to read at a grade 7-level. I am very patient and would love to introduce you to the beauty of reading. Once we are done, you won't fear once your name gets called out for unprepared reading or just reading out loud in general ;).

I strongly believe that if you give people an opportunity to read you are granting them an opportunity to fully participate in society. Reading has become essential in developing people who will be competent to just on an academic level but also they can be competent citizens. If people can read well they can understand well then they can ask the right questions and develop themselves.

I have completed my English Language and Literature Studies at University Level through UNISA. I enjoy reading and writing as a hobby, I love Shakespeare, Poetry and Rap music. I work in adult education and marketing where write and develop course content, provide training, create advertisements and articles. I have also taught English to Chinese students for a year, focusing on reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar.

I have great problem solving skills. I am a very patient person. I am very organized and creative. I have good communication skills and am very confident about my skills. I am a good listener and I am very passionate about my work.

I am the best tutor for this subject as I have studied it and can teach from a young age to older ages. I have no limitations when teaching this subject! I make sure to engage with my students and help them when needed. My classes are always fun and make sure for them to learn something new everyday.
