It is said to be the best writer, you have to be the best reader. I am a reader at heart. I have went to Paris, walked down beaches in Florida, slept in busy apartments in New York City, all this by reading and imagining things in your mind. The power that is reading unlocks your imagination, and makes it easier not only to be better at your paper 2 exam, but paper 3 as well.

Reading at a university level might seem daunting to students, but I can make this process easy and fruitful by providing useful skills on tackling readings that seem difficult. Students will be better able to read with a purpose and extract information after receiving my assistance.

I have been reading books since a very young age. I have an expansive vocabulary and is fluent in English and Afrikaans. With my experience in drama and acting, I have developed my reading skills into and art form.

Talking about what we have read is something that we do daily as adults. Teenagers and children need to learn the same skills. My goal is to improve the students' reading but also their comprehension and applying their understanding of that passage to their daily life or the task that they have to do.

I always loved reading since I was in primary school and still enjoy it! I have a passion for reading and this is why I think I would be best at teaching this. I also think that reading expands your vocabulary!

Being an avid reader, English literature is my niche. I specialize in set workbooks and poetry but can apply the same skills for short pieces of text for beginner readers just as easily and readily. My skillset in this niche starts at recognizing sound devices and phonemes and expands to peer reviews and academic literature.

I have experience with teaching and tutoring young children.I also have a TEFL teaching certificate. I also grew up in a bilingual home and am fluent in Afrikaans and English.I also had English literature as a module in varsity and I love to read and I would love to share that passion with you.
