I received 79% for English in my Matric year and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Laws degree where I obtained multiple distinctions. My educational experience has taught me how to read for meaning and how to absorb vast amounts of information. I am therefore able to teach my students how to read for meaning and to absorb information for later use.

Have been reading from a very young age -4 years old. Reading is one of my favourite past times and believe it to be directly related to how we express ourselves-it has definitely enables me to be meticulous and have a good grasp of the english language.

Through university we focused on reading instruction and the Orton Gillingham Phonics approach as well as many other approaches to teaching a student to read. Having completed 3 modules in this area of English I feel highly experienced and qualified. Reading is the foundation of all English and I believe that the necessary attention needs to be applied to this skill.

Reading is a passion for me. i am open to all sorts of books and i have a big imagination. Through reading, your writing and vocabulary is enlarged. Reading is just as important any other subject and should be taken serious in the education field.

Learning to read a language is so important as once you are able to read in a language, you are able to pick up the writing style of the language. Reading also assists with your language skills and your ability to listen better.
