I am studying a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching through UNISA and English is one of the subjects I am specialising in. I have a genuine interest in the subject and a passion for teaching it. I achieved great results for English throughout my school career. I also have experience teaching English at primary school level. I have a vast knowledge of the subject and a strong understanding of the various aspects of it. I ensure that the teaching/learning process for the subject is exciting and effective.

I achieved a destinction in English and have won awards for writing plays at one act plays festivals. I am very patient and have assisted high school students with essay and speech writing. I was also Head girl at school and therefore very good with English as a discipline, especially explaining concepts clearly and simply.

I'm a senior and Fet education student that basically means i can give class from grade 7 till grade 12. English is probably the best language to be spoken i love it , i'm actually Afrikaans but i've been speaking full english for round about 5 years now it is also one of my university subjects.

I was the top English Home Language performer in the North West province when I wrote matric in 2016 with an average of 96%. I believe that I am well equipped to help students achieve their full potential with English.

I have completed my LTCL teaching diploma in English language and drama as well as currently doing my degree in linguistics and journalism which gives me an in depth knowledge into the English Language.

I am passionate about English. I love writing, literature and language. My enthusiasm will sure rub off on you. I write my own poetry and short stories. I am an avid reader. I enjoy Shakespeare as well as poems.

As stated in my introduction , that I am a hard worker and is very dedicated. I have been teaching for 6 years and currently doing my honours in curriculum design. The reason why i chose curriculum specifically is to make room especially for learners who struggles with certain criteria and make sure the curriculum adapts to learners needs by creating enough room for developing. I go the extra mile to ensure the content is well understood. I can also assist in Afrikaans, Technology , Maths and Science.

I am a bi lingual English-speaking graduate and a South African citizen. I have completed a 168 hour Level 5 TEFL Certificate with The TEFL Academy. I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by teaching English. I look forward to creating exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively.

I am extremely passionate about language and I have always been a very strong English student. I received distinctions for both English and Advanced Program English for IEB matric. In grade 6 I received an ICAS award for English and was placed in the 99th percentile of English students worldwide. I was also the recipient of my primary school's literary award and was on the Kids' Lit Quiz team, where we placed second nationally in 2011. I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of language and this is something I hope to be able to share with my students.

I enjoyed English throughout school, receiving distinctions throughout school. I am confident I will be able to equip students with the necessary skills to reach their best potential. I understand what is required to succeed in the various sections of English exams.
