I would like to think of myself as a practical person who is attentive to detail with a logical and analytical approach to solving problems. I am highly motivated a hard worker who values honesty, dedication, and my learners opinion and views about life. I possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and I’m a self-starter who enjoys challenging working environments. I’m eager to learn from those with more experience and knowledge than I have. Since being a teacher I have learned to be open-minded concerning learning and always strive to be my student’s role model. I have a natural ability to discipline and working with children while creating a pleasant learning atmosphere. I regard sport and culture to be two very important building blocks in a child’s education. I have a passion for education and children, which probably flows from the fact that I am the eldest. . I successfully completed my B.Ed. (Intermediate phase degree) (2013) at the University of the Free State. My main subjects were English, Technology, Science (Grade 4-9) , Economic and Management Science. The training I received was of such a nature that I can offer any learning area with confidence. I was a tutor at the University of the Free State, where I helped disabled learners to understand the content of their work. During my term as a tutor I have learned many skills and obtained a vast knowledge of human nature. It felt good helping students and seeing the good results at the end of the day. I knew then with all my heart that being a teacher is a God-given talent. I am obtained my honors in Teacher education and professional development at the University of Pretoria in 2020.
