I was good at this subject in high school. i found it very easily and i passed it with a distinction. I have great communication skills and I will be able to deliver this subject smoothly. I have recenltlt taught a few family members and have done exceptuionally well,

I have a love for maths and all things mathematical as I do enjoy questioning things and working them out until I have the answer. Although I was never incredible strong in pure maths, I did enjoy it in high school but then I flicked through a Maths lit textbook and found that this maths seemed more practical and easier to use in everyday life. I am a very practical person and I don't like wasting time learning things that I can't use so I decided to change to maths lit in my matric year. I found the subject very interesting and useful and I use it in my everyday life which I love!

Being a Mathematics tutor is more than teaching maths, its instilling belief in my students to work to the best of their abilities. To cultivate each-and-every student to believe in themselves beyond what they think their capabilities are. Mathematics is subject that requires a calm mind and confidence, and I believe that I will be able to create this for my students, while covering the necessary content.

I always had passion for Mathematics literacy most people take it for granted as they are always comparing it with mathematics. Passion is always needed when you're doing something I think I will be best fit for the Job because of my passion for this subject.

I have successfully completed my BSc degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. It consists of a double major: Hydrology & Geography. Within these two majors, I was moulded into a hard-working and consistent individual who utilizes a multidisciplinary approach and open mind when faced with new challenges. I believe that having mastered Mathematics in my BSc degree puts me in a position - confident to educate others.

I enjoy helping others on this subject, because of the enjoyment and the love I have for this subject. I also obtained an A symbol at high school and university for mathematics, so I believe I can provide the necessary assistance that learners may require and help them to my best abilities.

I have tutored Mathematics to students ranging from grade 1 through to grade 10 over the last decade. I believe in making math fun and relatable, if you can see how it will be used in real life then it is so much simpler to understand. Math needs to be seen as a practical subject and not just numbers on a page.
