I’ve always been very good with numbers from a young age and achieved high marks. I helped my class mates throughout school and achieved a mark of 89% in matric for pure maths. I believe I am well equipped to teach this subject.

I believe that success begins with a great tutor-student relationship. I hope to create an environment where the student feels safe to ask, answer and attempt questions. I have excellent content knowledge and am flexible in my teaching approach, catering to the students needs.

I have tutored both high school and primary school students. I received 71% for my university math modules, and the areas I specialize in is Algebra, calculus and Bio-statistics. I try to make math relatable to real life so students can better understand and remember concepts and how to apply it.

Maths was my favourite subject at school. I really don't believe its the scary rocket science people made it out to be. Any student can excel at mathematics if they understand concepts and sufficienty practise.

I managed to achieve a 96% average for mathematics in Grade 12. I have also furthered my mathematics skills by studying mechanical engineering and therefore mathematics makes part of my professional life. I am able to explain real life applications of mathematics which is sometimes an element which is lacking in the school curriculum according to me.

I have more than 10 years experience and hold a PhD in Statistics. The 10 years experience is at both high school, university level and teaching adults. I am comfortable with any syllabus from any university or college.

I have great knowledge if the curriculum and the methods used to teach the curriculum. I have experience teaching the subject and always work through all the methods with the learner to ensure that the learner understands and finds the method easiest to suit him/her. I always try to make the Math more interesting as many learners can find it boring at times therefore losing interest.

I have done two Mathematics modules while studying which are "Mathematics teaching (intermediate and senior phase)" and "numbers and operations in intermediate and senior phase". I believe that mathematics is compiled by various puzzles which are waiting to be solved. If you choose me as your mathematics tutor I will lead you though my adventurous lessons in which you will learn the different methods and tactics which are used to slove these puzzles.

Mathematics and emergent number skills is where I excel. I have resources, experience and skills to help learners that have barriers to learning in emergent number sense and numeracy skills. I love maths, it is my passion. I enjoy teaching git and I am passionate about changing a child perception about maths, maths is fun if you know how to teach it well.

Throughout my educational career I've always achieved high marks for the subject. I'm very patient, and I'll make an effort to prepare and learn how you get to understand things. I have the ability to contextualize problems and be able to translate and solve them.
