Hi there I am a qualified Primary school teacher, with my HONS Degree in psycho educational support. I have 12 years teaching / tutoring experience with both GDE CAPS and private syllabi. I have my own transportation and many success stories.

I have tutored with Gutsy tutoring since August 2018. Before that I tutored for the volunteer tutoring program at Wits because I have always loved helping students wherever I can and imparting the knowledge I have in subjects that I love and excelled in. In this time that I have been with Gutsy tutoring I’ve fallen in love with working with students, and as much I’ve shared knowledge with them I’ve also learnt a lot from them. I recently completed my bachelors and I am currently pursuing my honours in Organisational psychology. Some of the subjects I have done include Anthropology, Linguistics, Sociology, Research statistics, Psychology, and Organisational psychology. Being a psychology major, I have a keen interest in the processes of learning and I am really fascinated by human cognition. As such, tutoring also helps me practically expand my knowledge on the subject matter I deal with in my degree.

I am a Wits postgraduate student currently working as an NRF Intern. I have previous teaching experience as a teaching assistant at Wits University and a private tutor for primary and high school students. I am a biological sciences expert - 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and Honours level coursework in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and an array of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences. I am proficient in high-level mathematics (calculus, trigonometry and algebra), physical science and geography. I pride myself on teaching good study techniques to young students (applicable to all subjects) and helping advanced students refine their study skills.

I am a second year mathematics student,passionate about maths and economics. I am an addict to mathematics and I enjoy helping other people to develop mathematical maturity. Maths is easy and simple, all it needs is dedication .

I am a recent post graduate student from Wits University with four and a half years of tutoring experience across most high school subjects. I believe that no matter what academic level you're at, a little bit of extra help can go a long way in providing that needed confidence boost to help achieve your goals. I am a friendly, approachable and achievement orientated individual with a fine attention to detail and a passion for helping others succeed. When I am not studying, I enjoy reading about the latest Tech trends worldwide and if I'm not home, you'll no doubt find me at the gym!

I am 18 years old and I am now studying BSc Chemistry and Polymer Sciences at Stellenbosch University. I have a younger sister that I have been helping, academically, for all her life and she is now in high school. I attended the Ridge School for primary school and St Johns College for high school. In matric I took nine subjects (maths, history, science, English, advanced programme maths, advanced programme English, visual art, Afrikaans and life orientation) and achieved six distinctions. I have a passion for maths and science but am not shy to tackle more subjective subjects such as English or art. Sporting wise, however, I took part in St Johns' rowing programme and managed to represent South Africa in U16 and was the captain of the club in my grade 12 year. I also played rugby and hockey, although not nearly as well.

I’m 16 from Johannesburg. I’m easy going and flexible with times, though I believe hard work and practice is how to improve your marks and I’m here to help! I’ve tutored a few times before and raised one of my students english marks by 10%. I preferably tutor junior school (grades 4-7) however I can tutor from Grade 3 to Grade 9. I have gotten distinctions for all of my subjects, and am 3rd in my class. I am best at tutoring english, maths, history, biology, physical sciences, chemistry and afrikaans.

I am a studying a Bachelor of Health Science - Biomedical science at the University of Witwatersrand. I have a great passion for tutoring. I was privileged enough to experience great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be.

I`m a graduate from university of the Witwatersrand , I hold a qualification in Bachelor of Science ( Material Science and Physics), I enjoy solving equations and providing solutions to problems . My passion for helping students dates back while I was still doing grade 9 in high school I will always spend my time helping and assisting students with their homework and also provide help if they struggling with a certain topic. I am currently a third year in Bachelor of education at Witwatersrand majoring in math and science. I am afrikaans but fluent in English. I have two years of experience with tutoring accompanied with great results.
