I am 18 years old and I am now studying BSc Chemistry and Polymer Sciences at Stellenbosch University. I have a younger sister that I have been helping, academically, for all her life and she is now in high school. I attended the Ridge School for primary school and St Johns College for high school. In matric I took nine subjects (maths, history, science, English, advanced programme maths, advanced programme English, visual art, Afrikaans and life orientation) and achieved six distinctions. I have a passion for maths and science but am not shy to tackle more subjective subjects such as English or art. Sporting wise, however, I took part in St Johns' rowing programme and managed to represent South Africa in U16 and was the captain of the club in my grade 12 year. I also played rugby and hockey, although not nearly as well.

I previously tutored my sister with all of her subjects from when she was still in primary school and now in high school. Although this service came at no cost it still provided me with essential teaching skills. I now tutor some of the neighbourhood's children that can not make it to school and are struggling with their studies.
