I am a dedicated tutor with good communication skills. I strive to make science understandable in terms of our daily lives by using concepts the student will be familiar with, often finding real-life examples that are easy to grasp and unforgettable.

Having taken Science as an elective subject for matric, I feel I am familiar and well equipped to tutor primary and high school students. Additionally, I have experience tutoring high school students ranging from grades 8 through to 11.

I am the best tutor for this subject as I am exceptionally passionate about it and I would say more than capable of it. Furthermore, I have prior experience in tutoring in this subject as I have mentored my sister in this subject for all her academic career and she is a near straight-A student.

I am a third year student studying Bachelor of education at Witwatersrand, majoring in mathematics and science. My home language is Afrikaans and fluent in English as I study in English. With this I have 2 years of experience with great results.

As with mathematics, I am a physics major graduate and have worked in an environment that required the practical application of what I learned during my academic course. Since I was young, I have loved science, spending my afternoons watching programmers like "The Atom" in the history channel. I am very passionate about the physical sciences and am passionate about sharing my knowledge and understanding.

My bachelor of science degree is a combined major of biochemistry, advanced cell biology, and physiology. I have a high level of understanding of science and I am currently a teaching assistant in Wits, which assists undergraduate students during practical sessions involving the teaching of theory, demonstration of techniques, and marking work including scientific assignments and essays. I am able to extend my teaching to high school students, primary school students, and university students.

Everything around us is based on Physics and Chemistry and that fascinates me! This is another module that I am taking at university, on a more in depth level. I am the best tutor in this subject because I do well in my course currently and I love to see others excel too! I am thorough in my explanations and do not mind repeating because repetition is Key!
