Hi I am a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology student at the University of the Witwatersrand. I am passionate about education as its influence is far-reaching even outside the bounds of a classroom or school context. I am a Chairperson of an organisation called M-HARP (Mental Health Awareness and Renewal Program) which deals with educating individuals about mental health (see www.mentalharp.co.za). My name Lebogang means ‘give thanks’ and it is in the Education System that I shall give thanks because it affords people with knowledge necessary for living. One of the greatest moments of my life was when I chose Education as my career path, until this day my dream for better education to the underprivileged is what I aim to achieve as a future teacher. My high school teachers were incredible but failed to instil in me the purpose of education. I studied for the sake of passing an exam and afterwards I would have forgotten all that I studied. So it is through this career choice that I will have the opportunity to make a difference. I want to teach learners in such a way that will make them yearn for another period with me. I want to give what I was unable to receive while in high school, that I now see as important towards building learners’ capabilities. I love to help and it is through teaching that I will be able to do so. I am a motivator, a vessel of change and a lover of human well-being.

Nigel is a qualified chemical engineer with 5 years of work experience in the production or manufacturing industry. He offers skills in continuous improvement, cost reduction, process optimization, research and development, production operations, production planning and scheduling. He also has experience in team leading. A competent professional who is organized, innovative and pro-active at all times with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. I have over 2 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored first,second and third year university students. I have also tutored high school students.
