Mathematics tutors in Westdene

I have previous experience tutoring mathematics at many different levels (grade 3 to matric) and completed calculus and statistics as part of my undergraduate degree. My teaching style for Maths is based on understanding the rules through worked exmples followed by practice, practice, practice!

I love Maths and I have passion for helping others to get to love and understand maths. I obtained good marks in High school and at University Level. I have 2 years experience tutoring this subject.

I am interested in reading,sports and knowing more about other cultures.I like engaging with learners and assisting them till they get it. I am more of a practical person who likes testing/assessing when teaching to see if a student understand and try by all means to explain at the level of the learner. I like sports and playing games as well as pets ,

interesting Have interest in the field of education, engineering research and design, mining, mineral processing, foundry technology and mathematical modeling of systems.

1. I am currently a first year Master's degree student at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. I have excellent track record of Academic performance as I finished among the top 1% of my class as an undergraduate with a Vice Chancellor Award during my graduation. Also, I am a Project Management Professional, PMP and an Engineer. 2. I have over 4 years tutoring experience in high school and A-level domain. My personal attributes that makes me an outstanding tutor includes: effective communication (oral, verbal, written) skills, time management, analytical skill, respect for people and showing empathy. 3. I enjoy tutoring as I derive pleasure and satisfaction in sharing my acquired knowledge. Also, I believe my efforts tends to promote socio-economic growth of the Nation. 4. I have excellent command of English with overall band score of 7.0/9.0 in IELTS standardized examination. I have basic knowledge of French (self-taught) and I am an outstanding science student.
