Chloe P - Tutor in Forest Town

Currently completing my Master's in Applied Neuroscience part-time via distance learning, through King's College London. I completed my Honours degree in General Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016, I am involved in volunteer work at Headway centre for brain injury in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, and have accumulated years of tutoring experience in one-on-one and group settings, and across a wide range of ages and subjects. I feel that so long as I am working intensively with other people - as one does in the case of tutoring - I will be gaining valuable experience which will aid me in my pursuit of a career in the field of psychology, and thus am very keen to follow this route currently. I attended Roedean School in Parktown from Grade 0 to Matric, and matriculated with 8 distinctions in 2012. I feel that I have received a very strong academic foundation and thus am confident in my abilities to be a successful tutor on the level of academic achievement. Furthermore, I am confident in my interpersonal skills, my capacity for patience and persistence, and my dedication to my work and responsibilities. Besides my academic interests - which include primarily neuroscience, user experience, English literature, and languages (namely Japanese and French) - interests of mine range from drawing and art, to fitness and exercise, to reading and writing for pleasure.
