Hi! I am a third year International Relations and Politics student currently taking a gap year to seek employment. I have a deep passion for sports, the outdoors, animation, and art. I have a language aptitude and enjoy card and word games. I have a wide range of hobbies ranging from hiking to drawing. As an older sister to 6 siblings, I understand how different children and/or students react to different stimuli. That said, I more than willing to find the most appropriate and effective learning style for every person.

Academic tutoring was a high school extramural activity in which we were required to tutor our peers or our juniors in the subject in which we excelled. I tutored English, History and Life Sciences.
I have received a minimum of an A in History throughout my high school years. I appreciate the subject for its ability to develop one's mind towards being able to process large quantities of data. This skill has proven extremely beneficial in my interaction with varsity reading material.

IsiXhosa is my home language, thus making me a native speaker who is well versed in both the formal and informal. Additionally, the primary ethnic language in my province at the time was, and still is, IsiXhosa.

I obtained a distinction during my first semester of French during varsity. I am multilingual and can therefore translate into one's home language when necessary. Using a familiar language of reference helps students to engage better with the subject matter.

I believe that I am the best candidate to tutor this subject as I have an impeccable primary and high school academic record regarding my English proficiency. I possess a strong vocabulary which is beneficial as a writing and teaching skill. This is compounded by my deep appreciation of the language.

International Relations is my major and I have obtained distinctions in the subject. I hope to one day become an ambassador and effect policy change where and how it matters. Due to its diverse nature, the subject allows one to pursue various avenues of employment.
