I also have a masters degree in Drama Therapy. I believe that my experience in teaching and my experience in Drama Therapy allows me to teach in a way that is engaging and creative as well as patient and empathetic. Intern Drama Therapist
I conducted Drama Therapy sessions with University students as part of the campus counselling staff. I produced client reports. I conducted client intake. I took part in social engagement/activism projects run by campus counselling. I conducted mental health training sessions with student mentors. I attended regular staff meetings and worked closely with other mental health professionals.
Teaching assistant and English teacher to children with special education needs
I worked as a teaching assistant and English teacher to children with special needs at a primary school level. As a teaching assistant, I helped other teachers with daily classroom management and administrative tasks. I also assisted individual children with areas of difficulty such as reading, writing, numeracy and behaviour management. As an English teacher, my duties included: creating and conducting lessons suitable to children with special education needs, creating and conducting assessments, writing reports, liaising with parents.
