As a certified TEFL teacher, I have all the skills, methods and patience required to teach English as a foreign language to any level student. Learning English should be a natural and fun experience and I have the ability to create a safe natural teaching environment where students can freely express themselves and learn to speak, read and write English.

Due to the knowledge that I have, already stipulated above around my English experience, this is what would make me best suited to tutor this subject. Similar to the IELTS, I also have knowledge around how best to assist students prepare for this test.

It is my passion to teach languages - I have many years of experience teaching languages to all age groups. I adapt lessons to accommodate the reason why a person wants to learn a language - if only a basic foundation is needed for traveling, we focus on basic language skills, speaking and understanding of basic phrases and language structures. If fluency is the end goal, we take the slow route of getting acquainted with the foundations of the language and talking and reading as much as possible. I firmly believe that if a person enjoys the lessons, we are already on the road to success.

I have been a Toastmaster since 2008 so I am well-able to help learners prepare for reading or delivering speeches in class. I have an Honours degree in Physical Geography, as well as a BA degree. I completed a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course this year.

I have experience in working with students as a current Personal Programme Adviser at a reputable Business School. I have and understanding of students difficulties and challenges and able to relate and make them find solutions and understandable tools to tackle those challenges. I am a Public Management graduate with National Diploma, BTech,Post graduate diploma in Public Management. I have 10 years working experience in different fields of administration and mostly in academic institutions.

I have a TEFL certificate and I have been tutoring English online to Chinese students of all ages as well as proficiencies for over five years. I will be able to guide you as well as give you tips on how to implement your studies in front of your students on line or in the classroom.

My passion for teaching comes from my own love for developing understanding and fostering communication, with outcome- oriented thinking forming the basis for my teaching ethos. I believe that through my teaching experiences, I can contribute to the goal of providing holistic education. I am an engaging, dynamic and professional individual, currently completing a Masters thesis at Wits University. I recently spent a year in South Korea teaching English to middle and high school learners, and I have previously tutored primary and high school learners, coached swimming part- time for four years, and acted as a teaching assistant in first- year BSc courses at Wits University, where I was responsible for identifying learning gaps, conducting experiments and assessing and providing constructive feedback to students. I have honed and developed my ability to communicate effectively with learners of all ages, mastered the classroom management and administration necessary to execute lessons smoothly, and developed my planning skills to cater for meeting the learning objectives of learners at multiple levels.
