I am wanting to study Foundation phase education with reason being I love helping young learners and seeing them grow. I will be able to tutor all primary school subjects because it is something I am passionate about and love learning new things and inspiring children to learn.

As both my parents are teachers, I was exposed to the art of teaching from an early age, and this in turn gave me a strong foundation in primary school learning. It is my belief that in order to excel in their studies, one needs to have a strong foundation in the subject, meaning one needs to master the basics. I would thus be able to ensure that students grasp their primary school subjects by simplifying the content in such a way that it is easy for them to master. I try to make learning fun and simple, by giving analogies and examples for the work in a fun and friendly way.

I have two younger siblings and I also Au-paired for about one year. If there is anything I’m good at - it’s Primary School! I can help you strive to be the best you possibly can. I believe these can be the best years of your life!

I have achieved quite a bit of academic success throughout my school career, from high marks for tests and assignments to many Top Student awards and academic colours. I enjoy working with younger kids and love helping them learn.

As a top student in primary school, I will be able to help guide the students not only academically but also in development and preparation for High School and University. The basis needs to be developed from the primary school level. I will also be able to help with science projects for kids.

I have spent much time working with and teaching children ranging from 3 months to 18 years old. I enjoy creative teaching methods that will ensure that students are able to understand and apply the work they are taught in the classroom.

I have three years experience teaching young learners. I have worked for the Sumbandila Scholarship Trust on projects that focused on child development, learning and memory. I will ensure that my vast academic knowledge on both subject matters and learning will be used to ensure the student's full understanding and excelling in the subject of study

My best assets are the extensive experience I have in different areas of school, my ability to teach almost any subject and my ability to see the big picture and suggest creative solutions for problems or needs. I assist students to interact with their environment to make it easier to relate to the subject content and will arrange for excursions to simulate this with real life experiences.

Having spent the last 3. 5 years studying towards being a foundation phase teacher, we have gone into great detail about how to teach to young children in a way that they understand. We have been taught to identify a child personality and learning style and given practical ways to teach each child. I also have experience in tutoring and teaching.
