The satisfaction of having someone learn a new concept by means of your own tutelage is like no other! I love making work easily understandable by coming up with creative analogies and examples that simplify the work. Making work easier for myself enabled me to get 4 distinctions in matric, and 22 in university for BCom Law! My hobbies include learning new languages, how to play the guitar and dancing!

I have a keen base understanding of grade 8 and 9 mathematics. It is my belief that in order to excel at maths, one needs to have a strong foundation in the subject, meaning one needs to master the basics. I would thus be able to ensure that students grasp mathematics by simplifying the content in such a way that it is easy for them to master.

English
I have a keen admiration of languages and linguistics in general, and this translates into my love for English, it being my first language. I also have an understanding of the structure of other South African and Asian languages, which makes it easier to explain to people the differences between their spoken language, and how better to grasp English. I have consistently gotten good grades for English Home Language during school, and have assisted fellow classmates to understanding the work better. Further, I enjoy reading and writing, and so can assist with the understanding of not only grammar and vocabulary, but also school issued literature and essays.

As both my parents are teachers, I was exposed to the art of teaching from an early age, and this in turn gave me a strong foundation in primary school learning. It is my belief that in order to excel in their studies, one needs to have a strong foundation in the subject, meaning one needs to master the basics. I would thus be able to ensure that students grasp their primary school subjects by simplifying the content in such a way that it is easy for them to master. I try to make learning fun and simple, by giving analogies and examples for the work in a fun and friendly way.

Apart from obtaining a distinction for matric Tourism, I would make it easier to learn and even memorise tedious lists by teaching my own reliable methods of learning subject matter. The student would no longer struggle with time-zones and remembering all those capital cities!
