I enjoy teaching/tutoring younger children. I have patience therefore I am able to explain if they do not understand. I am always willing to answer their questions. I am currently studying towards an accounting degree, however I would like to do a teaching course in the future.

I am a hard working and determined individual who has a passion for learning. For me education should be fun, exciting and should be approached as a task where the learner is working towards solving a problem, as the ability to actually see the rewards of their work encourages a learner.

I care about each and every student and offer them individualized teaching/tutoring/educational support - study skills, organization, etc. tailored to the individual student . My training and experience allows me to be an excellent support for the student.

I have many years of mentoring, tutoring and teaching experience in the Foundation phase and Intermediate phase. My career objectives is to continue gaining valuable skills in Education in order to facilitate my learning, teaching and professional development, and to continue using best practice thinking to improve and enhance processes at a progressive and holistic institution. I enjoy working with children and would like help them achieve their goals by providing them with a solid learning foundation, to enable their reach their highest potentials.

Creativity,critical thinking, analysis, research, communication,stakeholder/relationship management and presentation are my strongest skills. The short period of work experience that I possess is not a weakness but a strength because I am enthusiastic and innovative ,bringing a fresh perspective,motivation to prove myself and openess to learning. I relate well with children and peers because I feed off the energy of moving growing and learning transition.

I am currently studying towards my degree in Foundation Phase Education. I have 18 consecutive months teaching experience. I love children and have two young children of my own who are taught on a daily basis by me over and above their usual schooling. I love teaching through gentle methods such as stories and exploratory play, discussion and worksheets. There is no reason why children cannot learn while playing in the garden, or baking in the kitchen.
