I am a tutor who has 6 years experience at different levels ranging from high school, FET college and university. I specialise in Maths and Science in High school then Electronics, Eng Maths, Eng Science, DSP, Power Machines, Electrical technology, Software engineering, Operating Systems and Computer Networks at UNIVERSITY and College

I am a Masters' student at the University of Johannesburg majoring in Chemistry. I took Physical science and Mathematics. Beside Chemistry, my other major for my undergraduate degree was Geology. I also took Mathematics and Physics as my electives until second year of my undergraduate degree. My tutoring experience comes from tutoring undergraduate students for more than three years. I am passionate about education and I've been told that I make people feel comfortable with talking to me. I am willing to tutor mathematics and Physical Science for student in grade 10 to 12 and also Chemistry and Mathematics for first year university students.

I am a BSc Molecular Biology and Biotechnology graduate. I am also a post graduate student in Education, majored in Biology and Natural Sciences. I am currently a full time Mathematics and Science teacher at Nova Pioneer Ormonde. I am very passionate about Maths and Science and I love helping students reach their full academic potential.

I grew up in Pretoria North, studied at Tukkies and have worked in various provinces; currently in Pretoria East. Learners and students have ranged in age from Gr1 to third year tertiary; in a variety of subjects.

I graduated with a BSc in Actuarial Science in 2015 and have been working as a quantitative analyst ever since. I am a very friendly and patient person. I understand that every student learns at his/her own pace so I will always adapt my teaching pace to the learner's.

Born in a Christian family, I did primary and high school education including Advanced Level, My first job was a temporary High School Teacher in Mathematics, Biology, General Science, Physics before joining a rail company as an apprentice Fitter Machinist, later qualifying as a Fitter, kept studying Mechanical Engineering Technician and Diploma level, then further working as a Mechanical Draughtsman before winning a scholarship to study B.Engineering(Hons) in Industrial Engineering. I then worked in various portfolios as an Junior and Senior Mechanical Engineer as well as Projects Engineer in both rail and Mining Industry. I even lectured students at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in various Mechanical Engineering subjects for two years. I left to join an SA rail company hub in Zimbabwe which opened my horizons further regarding seeing the 'Big Picture' in Strategic Management, Business Acumen and general leadership and management knowledge, skills and attributes. The company decided to scale down operations in Zim hence I was eventually retrenched. I am an avid reader and I follow life events from political, social and economic perspective just to gain a full understanding of where our world came from, where we are and what future prospects may come in the future. I am very passionate about education and learning to the extent that I used to help students in whatever community I were to help them understand Mathematics, Science and Business Studies. I even paid fees for some poor students during my year as a Temporary High School Teacher. Since 2011 I have been involved as a Management Development Facilitator for mainly African government and parastatal employees as par of countries Capacity Building needed to champion the development in their respective countries as encouraged by United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, NGOs, African union as well as European Union apart from different efforts of individual countries of the world in fighting poverty, hunger, illiteracy, Women and Child Abuse, Curable diseases etc apart from contributing to social, political and economic development in Developing Countries. I love sport especially Soccer, Basketball, Cricket , Rugby and Tennis. I am a member of Centurion Toastmasters Club which is part of Toastmasters International which is the world's largest organization championing Communication and Leadership Development in a very friendly learning environment. I am quite a spiritual person and Christian by faith. I am a none-smoker, not into drinking beer but can take wine when relaxing. I like teaching Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Business Studies

My name is Lethokuhle Duma. I am a fourth year student, studying civil engineering at the University of Witwatersrand and I plan to become a geotechnical and/or structural engineer because of my big interest for construction, infrastructural development and the earth sciences. My interest comes from growing up in a community where infrastructure and development was lacking, it has always been my desire to learn the necessary skills it takes to implement such constructions in a community in hopes to be a part of a team which specializes in such responsibilities. My love for maths and sciences was also a major contributing factor that encouraged me to choose engineering as a career path. my other interest are design, art and technology.

I believe I have both the experience & skills required to make a positive impact and add value in the important role of being a tutor. I am a self-driven, goal orientated & self-motivated individual who puts a premium on excellence and quality. I work as a Curriculum Technical Assistant for the National Tooling Initiative Programme (NTIP), which is a skills & enterprise development company focusing on the Manufacturing sector. My academic background includes studies in Engineering-Industrial. I have tutored to University & High School students with a focus on Mathematics, Physical Science & Accounting. As a person who works with academic curriculum and students on a daily basis in my full-time job I believe I can bring a sharp mind to the people I tutor especially in the often-difficult subjects such as Mathematics. I have also gained knowledge on a number of technical industries and working environments through my studies and practical experience where the studies of Mathematics, Physical Science & Accounting are often applied practically. I am a problem solver, critical thinker and innovator that believes in making a change wherever I go & I would like the opportunity to make a positive change in your studies.

I am a principal Mechanical engineer with a passion for maths and science. I enjoy teaching these subjects and can adapt to your teaching requirements. With over ten years experience working and mentoring in the missiles and defense industry I look forward to helping where I can.

For the more science, math, business and art orientated students language skills might not come naturally. Luckily I have a proclivity for languages - particularly English . From essays, speeches, literary analyses to grammar, I have the skills to sharpen you up linguistically. With high achieving grades for both English and Afrikaans in Matric I decided to continue down the path of languages by pursuing a tertiary education in creative writing. After graduating from UNISA with a BA degree in Creative Writing with English and Theory of Literature as my two majors I enrolled for an honours degree in English Studies which is what I am currently working on. I am continuously advancing my skill set and would love to help you out in the process.
