Hi I'm Jodi and I am a first year Pharmaceutical student at North West University in Potchefstroom. I am fun loving , patient and flexible. I love Maths, Science and Accounting and had a distinction in all of these subjects in my Matric year. My name is Tamryn Morkel. I am 22 years old and I have a passion for teaching. I want to help children and teenagers to do their best and reach to new heights. I believe all children are talented. I am kind, friendly and patient. I am currently studying a bachelor of education for foundation phase. I am in my third year. I have interned for grade R to grade 3 at St Mary's D.S.G in Kloof where I gained invaluable experience and insight. I have also taught grade 2's for a year at a missionary school where I was a full time teacher. I also did well at English, maths and biology in high school and love teaching those subjects. I can help up to a grade 9 level in these subjects. I have tutored a grade 8 English girl before. I have enjoyed all the experience that I have gotten thus far and believe it has taught me a lot so that I can help learners.

I am a student at the North-West University Potchefstroom. I matriculated in 2016 with 8 distinctions and an average mark of 90%. I have completed my Bachelor's degree in 2019 with distinction, majoring in Chemistry, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. I am currently studying to obtain my Postgraduate certificate in Education. I became a member of the Golden Key Honour Society in 2018. Teaching and Tutoring is my passion. I love to help students find their own "perfect way of learning". I have a broad foundation of subject knowledge due to my BSc., but also have experience in teaching and the Curriculum, due to my Educational studies. I have experience in tutoring, for the NWU, as well as high-school students. It would be my absolute honour to be able to help and inspire students to move from struggling to overcoming.

I am a fourth-year Medical student at Wits. Teaching is a passion of mine - there is no better feeling than seeing someone you helped succeed! I achieved a distinction for Science at Matric level and Physics 1 at University level, and achieved a distinction for both maths and AP maths in matric, so I am very well versed in these two subjects. Being a student, I understand how they learn and need to be taught, so I pride myself on my ability to ‘get through’ to students in a way that a school teacher may not.

I have obtained my Bachelor of Accounting Science in Financial Accounting. I am currently working on obtaining my Post Graduate diploma in Financial Accounting. I learnt to work in a team as well developed leadership skills through my degree. I developed good communication skills through my time as a tutor (four years). I can work well under pressure and I show determination in tasks I take up. I am looking to further develop and learn new skills in the accounting field. I will always try my best to be available, to assist my students when they require help. I prefer doing face to face lessons and expect students to work with me in order to assist them in their academic work. I give a lot of constructive criticism and feedback to the student and parents to help the student improve and develop. I try my best to make accounting enjoyable and also believe in constructing a good and positive relationship with all my students.
