I come from an Afrikaans family. I speak Afrikaans on a daily basis and I enjoy speaking the language. I also finished matric with a distinction in Afrikaans first additional language. This will give me a chance to share the knowledge I have gained on this subject.

I understand that learning Afrikaans may be challenging if it is not your mother tongue, or if it is a subject a child is struggling with regardless. I approach tutoring with patience and try to create a unique experience for every child with their unique needs. I attended Afrikaans schools and I speak the language fluently.

I'm a qualified Afrikaans teacher. I have experience in teaching Afrikaans in 4 different Grades (6, 7, 11 and 12) I have a bunch of creative ways to make this language fun and exciting. Having spent the last 3. 5 years studying towards being a foundation phase teacher, we have gone into great detail about how to teach to young children in a way that they understand. We have been taught to identify a child personality and learning style and given practical ways to teach each child. I also have experience in tutoring and teaching.
